I took African American Psychology this past semester and this book was the required text. I believe this should be the required text for any Psychology Major.
The book covers an array of social topics that plaques all american families; however in this book's context... iT IS compared between an Africentric Mindset against the Euocentric Views...

Required Text, Boo to Bacobooks

I had already found a cheaper version of this book on campus, so I knew as soon as I had received it, I'd return it. However, I opened package to check the quality of the shipped item (African/Black psychology in the American context: An African-centered approach), in case I wanted to buy from Bacobooks again. I paid $67 for a damaged and slightly ripped book that CLEARLY has a price label for $23. This has to be a joke. Why would Bacobooks sell something like this? It's blatantly not worth what I paid for, and even is marked so! I'm very unhappy with the quality of this item and even if I had still needed it, would have definitely returned it anyways for a full refund.
